Parentage: Cacak's Best x Valor

Description: Topend Plus is a last large excellent fruit in the season. Flowers early but good frost resistance. Partly self-fertile so although it will set a small crop on it's own a pollination partner is recommended. Topend is a very late cropping plum variety maturing not until mid-late September and can be picked over a long period. The fruit are oval to oblong and usually over 60g each. Dark blue skin with greenish-yellow, firm and juicy aromatic fruit. Freestone and plum pox resistant. Topend are the latest ripening plums.

History: Bred by Professor Helmut Jacob, Research Institute Geisenheim, in Germany 1994.
