Parentage: Cacak's Best x Bühler Frühzwetschge

Description: Topfive is a good eating quality plum. Mid flowering and partially self fertile. Topfive harvests in mid-August and can be picked over a long time period. The fruit are ovate to oblong 35-40mm and dark blue in colour with greenish-yellow firm and juice flesh. Can be kept in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Freestone and plum pox resistant.

History: Bred by Professor Helmut Jacob, Research Institute Geisenheim, in Germany 1999
