Malus 'Comtesse de Paris'
Description: A small, rounded deciduous tree with delicate, white blossom in spring amongst mid-green foliage. The smallish, elliptic, yellow fruits of this special variety usually persist well after Christmas.
History: Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 2013.
Malus Growing Tips: Crab Apples are self-fertile, and very useful as pollinators for a variety of fruit trees. Full sun or part shade lover, best grown in fertile, moist, deep, loamy soils. Requires minimal pruning in late winter or spring to remove damaged, diseased or misplaced growth.
