Acer freemanii ‘Autumn Fantasy’ Maple

Description: Acer freemanii ‘Autumn Fantasy’ is a red, silver maple with bold, healthy, medium, green leaves which turn intense ruby-red in autumn. Tiny red flowers are produced in early spring. Very suitable to parks and large gardens.

History: Introduced by Bill Wandell in the USA in 2010.

Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
