Description: Acer davidii 'Rosalie' is a striking variety. It has beautiful purple young shoots in the winter, later turning to green and heavily striped with white as the plant matures. The leaves are relatively small, a stunning yellow colour in the autumn.

History: Raised in the Netherlands in 1985.

Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
