Betula ‘Whiteness’ Betula

Betula

Description: Betula 'Whiteness' is a strong growing variety that produces a broad, spreading growth shape. It will take 2-3 years to show it's striking, bright white bark. In the spring, a display of green foliage appears turning to a golden yellow in the autumn, just before leaf fall.

History: Originating from ‘Ness’ Gardens as a good utilis type although this species has not been confirmed.
