Cedrus deo ‘Feelin Blue’ Cedrus

Cedrus

Description: Cedrus deodara 'Feelin' Blue' is a neat, weeping dwarf cedar with lovely bright blue needles and a low spreading habit with arching branches. Can be staked to form a small tree with gracefully arching branches or can be left to grow as groundcover on banks and slopes or cascading off containers and retaining walls. A magnificent specimen around ponds and rock gardens.

History: Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

Cedrus Growing Tips: Performs best in full sun in medium moisture, well-drained soils. Tolerant of hot and humid summers. Drought tolerant once established. It should be staked upright after planting in order to train the branches to droop and to create the popular “waterfall” effect. No pruning required.
