Description: A striking evergreen with bright blue spring growth that gradually matures to green, resulting in a unique shimmering effect throughout most of the year

History: Originated as a seedling selection made in the mid-1970s by Günther Horstmann nursery, Schneverdingen, Germany. It is among a group of seedlings selected from seed sourced from Paktia provence, Afghanistan. Karl Fuchs is the name of the name of the collector.

Cedrus Growing Tips: Performs best in full sun in medium moisture, well-drained soils. Tolerant of hot and humid summers. Drought tolerant once established.
