Cercidiphyllum japonicum ‘Peach’ Katsura

Description: Cercidiphyllum japonicum 'Peach' is a very attractive, Japanese deciduous tree. Bronze leaves when young, turn rich green, then pink, oranges, and reds in the autumn, especially when they're planted on acid soil. The tree gives off a lovely, sweet peach like scent during the autumn months.

Cercidiphyllum Growing Tips: Moist but well drained, acidic soils. Will tolerate some lime but will grow better and produce more vivid autumn colour in acid soil. Very hardy but vulnerable to late spring frosts as a young plant. Grows best in an area sheltered from strong winds.

Height (after 10 years): 5m x 5m
