Full Description
Description: Deciduous large shrub or small tree. Attractive variegated white green foliage in summer which is sometimes tinged pink in spring and turns burgundy in autumn. The flower bracts emerge green and turn white, covering the tree in late spring, from May-June. In autumn the tree can produce edible strawberry like fruits which are a great natural bird feeder. Interesting brown-silver winter bark for added value.
Cornus Growing Tips: Thrives in fertile, humus-rich, neutral to acid soil. Unsuitable for shallow, chalky soils.
Height and Spread (after 10 years): 4m x 3m
