Ilex aquifolium ‘Aurea Marginata’ Holly

Description: Small to medium size tree with densely branched, broad pyramidal crown. Features spiny glossy green leaves with distinctive showy yellow leaf margins. A female form producing ample fruit and interesting purple stems. Prefers moist but well-drained soil and tolerates either acidic or calcareous soil. Also suitable for use as a wide hedge. 

Ilex Growing Tips: Thrive in almost any well drained soil, in shade or sun. Most are tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.
