Ilex aquifolium ‘Limsi’ Holly

Description: A strong grower, forming an upright, pyramidal shrub with evergreen, glossy leaves that are deep green and have irregular spines. Small white flowers emerge in late spring, followed by spherical, bright red berries in autumn if a male plant is nearby. 

History: A Dutch seedling discovered by chance.

Ilex Growing Tips: Thrive in almost any well drained soil, in shade or sun. Most are tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.
