Juniperus scopulorum ‘Blue Arrow’ Juniper

Description: This award-winning small Juniper tree boasts vivid blue, evergreen foliage and an attractive very narrow, columnar shape. It's upright pencil habit makes it an ideal choice for a small garden and it's lustrous blue foliage gives lovely contrast against more common green garden colours.

History: This cultivar originated as a seedling selected in 1949 at Pine Grove Nurseries, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, USA.  Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

Juniperus Growing Tips: Thrives particularly well on fresh to moist, well-drained soil in the sun to partial shade. It also proves to be extremely robust, frost-resistant, compatible with cuts and even hard-wearing.
