Magnolia ‘Blushing Belle’ Magnolia

M. ‘Yellow Bird’ x M. ‘Caerhays Belle’

Description: This hardy Magnolia makes a superb focal point, forming an upright tree or large shrub with time. Large, fragrant, soft blush-pink flowers open to reveal centres of pink stamens surrounding green stigmas. The blooms are followed by a covering of bright green, deciduous foliage.

History: Bred by Dennis Ledvina in 2001.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts.
