A tree that has been grown in the field and then lifted out of the ground when dormant. Available from November to March. The roots are more open and the direct contact with the soil encourages them to settle in and establish more readily.
These are 2yr old trees that have been grown 1yr in the field and the second in a pot. Container trees can be planted at any time of the year but establish best when planted during the autumn and need to be watered well during the first summer.
Beech
A good weeping purple beech more compact and with deeper red purple foliage. Leaves open brown and go almost black.
Upright Golden Beech
Upright in habit with bright golden leaves which eventually fade to a mellow yellow-green mid summer.
Upright Purple Beech
Upright form with red new leaves turning rich dark purple before falling. Height after 10yrs 4m x 1.5m.
Young leaves appear red in spring, turning purple/black. Foliage turns brown in autumn hanging on till next spring.

Attractive, narrow, lance-shaped dark green leaves make this a very graceful form. Copper-gold leaves in autumn.
Elegant, long, glabrous leaves with a blue cast when young. Coppery-yellow autumn foliage.

Noble versatile tree, good for hedging. Dark green leaves copper in autumn. Height after 10 years over 6m.
