Very hardy and easy to grow soft fruit plant. A gooseberry bush will produce delicious green or red berries with a lovely zingy taste. Perfect for tarts, fools, pies and jams. Heavy croppers and self fertile.
Prefer to be planted in a sunny spot, and can be trained against a wall. Gooseberry bush are also happy to be grown in a container. Ideal for small gardens.
Prune during the winter months two years after planting. Remove the old branches to encourage new, fresh growth. We supply container grown and bare root gooseberry bushes and have a few different sizes available.
