Bringing together plant breeders and potential retail buyers, to discover the best new varieties for the future.Several carefully selected apples from trial orchards were given a very thorough analysis. Assessing taste, texture, appearance and also storage quality.Working with Scion Fruits, a joint venture between Frank P Matthews and Richard Hochfeld, we aim to produce the best UK grown apples for grocery sales. It’s a long term venture as trials and production can take years. The results will be revealed when the new apples are named and launched!
