We are delighted to announce that our display at the RHS Badminton Flower Show has been awarded a Silver-Gilt Medal, marking a successful debut at this prestigious new venue. Sincere thanks go to Frank P Matthews’ dedicated staff, the RHS judges, and all the visitors who helped make our first appearance such a memorable one. Celebrating the Beauty of Edible Gardening The award-winning display was designed to showcase the growing popularity of gardens that combine ornamental beauty with productive harvests. As gardeners increasingly seek sustainable and multifunctional outdoor spaces, the concept of blending edible plants with decorative landscaping continues to gain momentum. The exhibit demonstrated how fruiting and ornamental plants can work together to create gardens that are not only visually stunning but also provide home-grown produce and valuable wildlife habitat. The display highlighted how productive planting schemes can deliver year-round interest through blossom, foliage, fruit, colour, and structure, while also supporting biodiversity and encouraging pollinators. Recognition from the Royal Horticultural Society Receiving a Silver-Gilt Award is a significant achievement and reflects the quality, creativity, and horticultural excellence showcased within the exhibit. The recognition from the Royal Horticultural Society acknowledges the team’s commitment to promoting innovative garden design that successfully balances beauty, productivity, and environmental value.
