Description: Pitmaston Pine Apple is a distinctly small conical apple. Golden with a pale golden-brown russet, which can be seen more in mature trees and cold seasons. Rich distinctive flavour of pineapple, blended with honey and musk - a taste to live for! Intense and sweet-sharp juice. Can be biennial bearing, ideal for the smaller garden and does well in northern parts of England.

History: Raised by Mr White, steward to Lord Foley in about 1785. Said to be Golden Pippin seedling, introduced by J Williams of Pitmaston, Worcester, England. Williams exhibited the apple at the London Horticultural Society.
