Parentage: Worcester Pearmain x Rival

Description: Pearl is a mid-season dessert apple. Attractive, greenish-yellow flushed dark crimson fruit with a few dark red broken stripes. Flesh is creamy white, firm, fairly juicy, sweet and slightly acid, with a pleasant aromatic flavour; can be chewy.

History: Raised by W. Seabrook & Sons Ltd at Boreham, Essex, England in 1933 and was later introduced in 1938. Planted commercially in the 1950s.
