Description: Santana is a modern red dessert apple. Large fruit, deep red flushed over yellow-green skin and creamy-yellow, firm textured flesh. Santana is delicately perfumed, it really smells like it tastes! Hypo-allergenic for those with apple allergies, definitley worth considering for those who would like to be able to eat apples. Resistant to scab and has some resistance to canker.

History: Developed at the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands.
