Solo Kiwi

Description: Solo is a reliable, self fertile, very free flowering and fruiting form. Fruit almost round, slightly smaller than other cultivated varieties, maturing in January, can serve as a pollinator for other cultivars. Very hardy twining climbers, excellent for covering old walls or stumps. Masses of creamy-white flowers in the early summer.

Kiwi Growing Tips: Tolerant to any fertile, well-drained soil. Kiwis are sensitive to adverse weather conditions so they are best planted against a wall in a sunny spot. They also like to climb, so a wall or garden fence is the perfect location.
