Description: Calycanthus ‘Aphrodite' is a deciduous, small tree that produces a pretty display for a garden of any size. This spectacular selection is covered in fragrant red-purple Magnolia-like flowers on terminal and axillary shoots extending the flowering season for up to two months! The glossy green leaves turn into a buttery-yellow in the autumn. All parts of the plant are fragrant including the leaves, flower and bark which exude a spicy scent when crushed.
