Cupressus arizonica var. glabra ‘Blue Ice’ Cupressus


Description: Moderate-growing evergreen conifer forming a dense-growing, pyramidal-shaped column of feathery, silvery-blue-grey foliage set on reddish-purple branches. Grows in a variety of soil conditions (provided they’re well-drained), and thrives in a full sun exposure.

History: Originated as a seedling selected in 1960 by Duncan & Davies Nursery, New Plymouth, New Zealand who subsequently introduced it to the nursery trade in 1984.

Cupressus Growing Tips: Happy is most soils as long as they are well-drained. Plant in a sheltered position in full sun.
