Ilex aquilifolium ‘Pyramidalis’ Holly

Description: Grows from a shrub into a small or medium-size tree with a very densely branching, narrow pyramidal, later broader crown. Glossy green, pointed leaves which are irregularly spiny, white flowers in spring and summer. This cultivar is self-pollinating and is therefore capable of producing a superb crop of bright red berries, even without the presence of a pollinator.

Ilex Growing Tips: Thrive in almost any well drained soil, in shade or sun. Most are tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.
