Description: A deciduous tree with fresh green ovate to obovate leaves and cup-and-saucer-shaped, rich claret flowers. A small growing variety so it's perfect for smaller gardens.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
