Prunus Blushing Bride ('Shogetsu')

Syn : Prunus 'Shimidsu', Prunus 'Shimidsu-zakura', Prunus 'Longpipes'

Description: A graceful tree with a spreading habit producing large semi double flowers, pink tinted in bud opening to pure white, hang all along the branches on long stalked clusters. The mid-green summer foliage turns orange to red in the autumn.

History: Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

Prunus Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk, and clay.
