Description: The very large, double, deep-pink flowers in May have attractively fringed petals which age to the texture of crushed velvet. Coppery-bronze young leaves make a lovely contrast to the flowers.
Prunus Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk, and clay.
