Prunus CHOCOLATE ICE ('Matsumae-fuki')
Description: Stunning small feature tree with an upright habit in the early years spreading as it ages. In April-May, the large, showy flowers open blush white against the newly emerged red tinted, chocolate brown foliage. As the leaves age in summer they gradually turn dark green.
Prunus Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk and clay.
Height and Spread (after 10 years): 4m x 3m
