Full Details>These two species include the californian redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) and the Wellingtonia (Sequoiadendron giganteaum). The former being the world's tallest tree currently recorded at 371 feet, living up to 700 years old. The latter will achieve a greater girth although not as tall. Obviously not trees for the average garden but special all the same. Both are lime tolerant although the Sequoia more so.
