Tetradium daniellii

Description: An interesting, fast-growing tree, with a rounded, spreading, umbrella-shaped habit. Large, handsome, deep green leaves and clusters of small, pungently scented white flowers in late summer, followed by glossy black fruits on female trees in autumn.

History: Native to China and Korea. Introduced in 1905.
