A tree that has been grown in the field and then lifted out of the ground when dormant. Available from November to March. The roots are more open and the direct contact with the soil encourages them to settle in and establish more readily.
These are 2yr old trees that have been grown 1yr in the field and the second in a pot. Container trees can be planted at any time of the year but establish best when planted during the autumn and need to be watered well during the first summer.
We’ve been growing soft fruit bushes on our Worcestershire nursery since 2019. All trees are lovingly nurtured on our 450-acre Worcestershire nursery. Available in both container and bare root forms, our trees can be delivered or collected from our Tree Shop.

Blackberry
Erect, early-ripening, thornless shrub that produces large red and black fruit, ripening in early to mid-June.
Raspberry
An improved alternative to Autumn Bliss. Large, bright red and attractive fruits in September.
Grapevine
This is recommended as the best white wine variety for the UK. Flavoursome fruits that juice into delicious wine.
Blackcurrant
Early to mid season. Large berries on short trusses. Good flavour. Good frost, pest and disease resistance.
Early season. Large berries, short strigs. Small, compact. Heavy cropper. Some frost and mildew resistance.
Super sweet fruit combined with attractive red/burgundy leaves. Mildew resistant.
Blackbells has sweeter berries and larger fruit that can be picked in bunches of 10-15 per strig. Upright growing.
Tayberry
Raspberry x Blackberry. The thornfree Tayberry, large and succulent with delicious sweet and aromatic taste.
Gooseberry
An ideal replacement for Pax, large red fruit, good quality, few thorns and more mildew resistant.
A good hardy red grape combining heavy crops of very edible grapes with stunning autumn leaf colour.
Seedless grape producing reliable crops of excellent dessert quality. Small to medium red/amber grapes.
With its yellow sister this variety is excellent for organic growing with high mildew resistance.
