Name our New Apple! 12/03/2026 As part of our 125th anniversary celebrations we will be releasing a new apple later this year. To mark the occasion, we’ve partnered with the National Garden Scheme Charity (who celebrate their 100th year in 2027) for this introduction. This special apple will be released later this year together with the National Garden Scheme, is valued for its strong disease resistance, reliable yearly crops, and long natural storage on the tree. It has a firm, crunchy texture with a sweet, aromatic flavour rich in citrus notes. The tree’s compact growth makes it ideal for gardens, and its mid‑ to late‑season blossoms support consistent harvests. Naturally disease resistant, it is a healthy, low‑maintenance tree. Uniquely, the apples can hang on the tree until mid‑January, allowing them to be enjoyed fresh throughout winter without the need for indoor storage; after that, they provide food for birds.
