Description: Meridian is a modern English dessert apple. It has all the great qualities we expect in a modern apple, clean, great tasting and consistant! Skin is an attractive striped orange-red on a pale green background. Juicy, aromatic flavour which has a slight hint of lemon. A heavy cropper, disease resistant and stores well in March keeping its crisp texture.
History: Developed by East Malling Research Station in Kent, England during the 1970s and later introduced in 2000.
