Cotoneaster Hybridus 'Pendulus'
Description: Small evergreen garden tree, with long weeping branches that arch down to create a dome effect. The foliage is a rich mid-green colour and makes a fantastic foil for the summer flowers and autumn berries. The colourful red berries cover the tree in autumn and provide yet more food for wildlife through winter, particularly birds including Waxwings. Seeds of the fruit may cause mild stomach upset if ingested.
Cotoneaster Growing Tips: Best planted in full sun or partial shade, and thrive is fertile soils but will tolerate any soil as long as it's well-drained.
Height and Spread (after 20 years): 2m x 1m
