Description: An erect form of compact habit, with ovate, deep glossy green leaves all year round with a coppery red colouring on the leathery under leaf. Large, creamy white, lotus-like flowers are citrus scented, and attracts bees and other insects.
Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
