Fondante d'Automne
Pear
Description: Fondante is a high quality and quite reliable variety, excellent pear for the garden that arrives later in the season. A green turning yellow fruit with a pinkish flush with mottled brown russet. Flesh is white, green tinged beneath the skin. A fine, melting juicy texture with delicious flavours. For the best tasting fruits, pick them just before they're ready and leave them to ripen in a bowl.
