Prunus Royal Burgundy

A vase shaped garden tree, impressive for its contrasting rich burgundy leaves and deep rose-pink double flowers. The leaves also turn a spectacular scarlet-red in autumn.

Introduced from the USA as a sport of Prunus ‘Kanzan’ but considered worthy of a place within the Japanese cherry section.
