Description: Precoce de Trevoux is one of the finest flavoured pears in the world. An attractive fruit flushed carmine red, with some russet streaks. The flesh is white, has a juicy and buttery rich flavour with a musk perfume. Early flowering so it would benefit from being planted in a warm, sheltered site. Beautiful red-orange autumn leaf colours.

History: Introduced by M. Treyve of Trevoux, Ain, France in 1862.
