A green turning yellow fruit with a pinkish flush with mottled brown russet. Flesh is white, green tinged beneath the skin. A fine, melting juicy texture with delicious flavours. For the best tasting fruits, pick them just before they're ready and leave them to ripen in a bowl. History: Raised in France in 1825 by M. Fievee at Maubeauge.
